Farthest Star Publishing: We're Back in Business
Hello, everyone!
I'm excited to share some important updates from Farthest Star Publishing. As some of you may know, our indie publishing house recently went on a short hiatus due to some unexpected health challenges on my part. I experienced a heart attack and underwent an aortic heart valve replacement.
During this time, I reached out to our readers and writers to explain the situation and to thank you all for your overwhelming support and well wishes. Your messages of encouragement meant the world to me as I stepped away from the helm to focus on my recovery. I also informed everyone that the reading of new submissions would be delayed but assured you that we were still on track for the release of our second anthology, "Portals, Gateways, and Doors".
It's been three weeks since I entered the hospital for surgery. While there were some complications, I'm happy to report that the procedure went well. I'm now home, healing, and ready to get Farthest Star Publishing back into gear.
This weekend, I'll begin reading submissions again to complete our anthology, "Portals, Gateways, and Doors." There are also several longer-format stories in the pipeline that I know our readers will love, and those will start to become available shortly. There’s so much to look forward to!
Thank you once again for your patience, understanding, and support during this time. I'm proud to announce that we're officially back in business and ready to continue our journey together.
Warm regards,
David D’Amico
