Due to an overwhelming response and a high volume of exceptional submissions, Farthest Star Publishing has decided to move up the closing date for our second anthology, “Portals, Gateways, and Doors”. The new deadline for submissions is now September 1st, 2024.
We’ve been thrilled by the quality and creativity of the stories we've received. Given the volume of submissions and the fact that we’ve already exceeded our projected word limit, we felt it necessary to close submissions earlier than originally planned.
Farthest Star Publishing will continue to actively review all submissions received up until September 1st, 2024. However, as the anthology is nearing its final capacity, only the most exceptional stories will be selected for inclusion.
We want to ensure that every story in “Portals, Gateways, and Doors” upholds the high standard we’ve set for this anthology. It’s an exciting challenge to sift through such a wealth of talent, and we’re eager to share the final collection with readers.
Farthest Star Publishing thanks all contributors for their enthusiasm and creativity. We look forward to announcing the selected works soon after the revised submission deadline.
